Weddings: Mid-Range Flower Estimates
Bouquet Styles
Beidermeier:
A nosegay is made up of tight, geometric circles of a variety of flowers for a stripe like effect.
Cascade:
Often called a waterfall of flowers, this lovely spill of blooms, greens and vines falls gracefully from the heart of the bouquet. It is a complimentary style to almost every traditional wedding dress.
Tear Drop:
This is a popular choice of many of our brides to be. It is smaller than it's sister style, the cascade, but equally as beautiful. As the name suggests, the shape of this bouquet is true to that of a teardrop.
Classic Hand Tied Bouquet:
This classic choice includes a rich bunch of several blooms selected to impress. They are loosely gathered together and hand tied with a ribbon to match.
Nosegay:
During the Victorian Era, this bouquet was said to be the preferred style of royalty and the social elite. It consists of a small, round cluster of flowers with a primary color or a primary bloom and a few other color and stem accents to diversify and beautify the arrangement.
Ribbon or lace is used to tightly wrap the stems and some of our adventurous brides will forego the ribbon and create an authentic Victorian replication of the nosegay by placing their bouquet in a stunning silver carrying cone.
Pomander:
The layman's term for the Pomander is kissing ball. Child attendants love to carry this bloom-covered ball suspended by elegant ribbon.
